The property's charm and proximity to local amenities make it a popular choice for family holidays.

Guests have reported issues with cleanliness, including dust, dirt, and signs of pests. Despite some reports of areas being clean, the overall impression suggests a need for a more consistent and thorough cleaning approach.

The property's location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and local attractions. The convenience of the setting is a standout feature, contributing to a positive holiday experience.

The property is considered comfortable by several guests, with adequate space for large groups. However, some concerns about the quality of mattresses and seating detract from the overall comfort level.

There was dust on many frames, balls of hair under beds, mould in both bathrooms on walls, corners of shower/bath areas. No oven gloves. Mould on the lampshade, wall and pillow cases in the en-suite bedroom at rear of property which was cold even with the heating on. The front bay window could not be locked so a security issue. No dustpan and brush. Some of the pillows did not have protective covers. The bottom drawer/tray in the fridge was stuck with ice to the fridge itself which I had to sort out before we could use it. The fridge in my opinion is far too small for a group of 10 people. The front door was obstructed by rolls of carpet, and a vacuum which was a fire risk (I moved them in order that if there was a fire we could exit the property by either door.) The external bin was almost full and clearly hadn’t been emptied for weeks. We ended up leaving a day early as couldn’t face another night in a cold and insecure house. You could actually hear people’s conversations who were on the bridge from both the lounge and front double bedroom unless drowned out by the intense volume of traffic or the music from the neighbouring fish and chip shop.We will not be returning which is a shame as the cottage itself is in a great location for a summer beach holiday.

There was a bin outside the back door, this is the only door of the property that you can use, it was full and overflowing with stinking maggot infested rubbish, also it looks like next door are throwing there rubbish over the gate as well, this was not emptied till Thursday, a very nice greeting everyday. The house was not the cleanest mountains of hair under the couch this was found when my dogs ball rolled under there. The fridge drain is blocked so it leaks water. The hoover tumble dryer has a broken water container so that leaks water too and turns the utility room into a sauna. The house is also quite damp. On the last day the hot water went off again. Other than the moaning the house was ok, got everything you could want and is in a great spot. The bathrooms were clean and the beds were clean and comfortable.

Downstairs toilet is just floorboard and smells very strongly of urine that has obviously seeped into the floor. No carpeted bedrooms, sofas and other furnishings are unclean, would be a beautiful view if you could see through the windows. We were warm and comfortable in the evening, handy to have washer and dryer ! Cupboards are very full of mismatched tableware so could do with a declutter, highchair was filthy so luckily we bought our own with us. It’s such a shame that the overall cleanliness and care of the house let it down because it has so much potential to be a beautiful place to stay. Our children were on summer holiday a week past Yorkshire so we didn’t pay the ‘usual’ summer holiday prices, I’d say what we paid was roughly around what you’d expect to pay for the property but 100% not worth the price it was for the week before. Welcome package was a thoughtful extra but perhaps would have been better off spending the money on a longer clean
