Unfortunately we couldn't get the heating to work even tho there was instructions on how to turn it on, wasn't sure if it was the correct instructions for that boiler. With having no heating ment he bedrooms were cold and there was no hot water and had to boil the kettle for hot water . Luckily there was the heater fire in the main room and the electric shower in the main bedroon that we all had to use. Because we were there for a couple of nights it wasn't too bad but any longer it would have been a problem.

We would definitely stay here again but there were just a few things that would make the stay even more special. The house was quite grubby, lots of dust and cobwebs and the sofas were very stained. There was a washing machine which was fantastic for a longer stay especially walking in the wet but there was nowhere to hang washing to dry (there is a dryer but not everything can go in that) an airer would be good. There was no dustpan or mop so we didn't feel we could leave the house as we would have liked as we had a dog who walked in muddy footprints. Also the lights in the shower didn't work so if you had a shower at night it was very dark in there. Don't let this put you off, it's a fabulous house in a fabulous location and perfect for groups . Lots of good walks from the door and some great local pubs serving very good food
