Enviably located in the heart of Whitby and just 500 yards from the beach, this detached property boasts a spacious and very comfortable contemporary interior and a lovely patio garden. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac with secure parking, it is 200 yards from cobbled streets lined with quaint shops, great fish restaurants, galleries and pubs. Tall ships often visit the harbour and there is fine walking on the clifftops and ‘Heartbeat’ moorlands. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Although it's only a five minute walk from the centre, South Haven is very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend.

A wonderful cottage. The amenities would have been excellent if the dishwasher had been working. The office staff were very kind and helpful but were unable to have a replacement installed during our visit. This did not spoil our stay. We would certainly recommend South Haven.

This is our 7th stay here and it has always been fabulous, We had a few issues this year *Padlock was missing from the gate* Dishwasher wasn't working* Garden needed some TLC A hot tub would be a fabulous addition 😄We will be back in 2026
