A modern house on a small estate approximately 1 mile from the heart of whitby. The property is nicely decorated, warm and comfortably furnished. It is fully equipped. There is a drive with parking for two cars. We walked into whitby most days, taking about 20 minutes. However there is a short part of the route that is quite steep. This is a perfect property from where to explore whitby and the surrounding area. Many thanks. Pete

Sully's House is a modern house on a very nice new estate about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is parking between the house and next door for four cars, but when the neighbour's two cars are parked there it is very tight and so we parked on the road outside the house which wasn't a problem. It's a very quiet area and we had a lovely time. When walking into Whitby there is a shortcut through the houses onto the main road.The house is very well equipped and this isn't a complaint rather a suggestion, but there is only a sofa in the lounge which when there are four adults is a bit of a squeeze even though it is a large sofa. The room has plenty of space near the window which is crying out for at least one armchair which would make it better for guests. We actually cleaned and brought in one of the garden chairs to use which worked well and was comfortable with the throw on it.Bathrooms are lovely, modern and clean but there are no towel rails which would be useful.Although the owner Ben (responded quickly to a query we had) text me some info on the day we booked in it would have been useful to have information on heating, appliances etc in the folder which basically only had Whitby info in it. We had a great time and even the weather was a lot kinder than forecast and will book in again when we next visit Whitby.Thanks Ben.
