Take the lift or stairs to your apartment, the property is suitable for those with mobility issues and is a good size. From the reception hall, check out the stylish family bedroom with a king-size bed, a single bed, TV and fitted wardrobes plus superb views over the River Esk. (This bedroom has a guest bed that can be made up to sleep a total of 6 people in the apartment.) A second bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobes, TV, plus a Juliet balcony – how lovely, to wake up to waterside views!



A large open plan living area includes a well-equipped kitchen that includes oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer and large SMEG fridge – ideal for stocking up on delicious Whitby seafood and your favourite tipples. As you head towards the ‘old town’, you’ll follow the River Esk past the marina and harbour. A swing bridge allows you to cross over to the West Cliff part of town, here you’ll find a bustling harbour fringed with award-winning restaurants and plenty more sights, such as The Dracula Experience, RNLI lifeboat museum and a gorgeous sandy beach.

The charming seaside town of Scarborough is a 30-minute drive, here you’ll find a castle, boating lake, miniature railway, Sea Life Sanctuary and, of course, lovely beaches – it’s also worth checking out what’s on at the Stephen Joseph Theatre or the town’s Open Air Theatre for a spot of culture whilst on holiday. Other pretty fishing villages worthy of exploration include: Staithes, Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay and Sandsend.
