Myself and my partner along with another couple stayed here for 3 nights. The location is nice and quiet and the lodge is very nice and was just what we wanted. Everything we needed to treat it like a home for our stay.The only issue we had was with the hot tub. We stayed in the hot tub for 5 hours on the first night and we had to get out because it was too cold and the temperature dropped to 33°. We thought that this was because we've been in it a long time so we put the top back on and left it for the night and all day the next day. When we decided to get in the hot tub on our second night we took the top off and noticed that the temperature was still at 33° and that the water level was below the first water jets. So l immediately called the out of hours number and the woman handled it very well and organised a maintenance man to come out the following morning. He then came the next morning, filled the water up and pre heated it back up to 40°.He did say that they should probably have this hot tub checked out so that indicated to me that there is a previous problem which I wasn't happy about. We then left the hot tub all day as we went out shopping. Came back and at 1730 and we all got in the hot tub and the temperature and water level was the same.However the temperature immediately started dropping and after 2 hours the temperature was back at 33° so it was too cold and we had to get out. We wasn't happy as out of 3 nights of our stay we had the use of the hot tub for only 1 night.On the day of checking out I emailed the site explaining the situation, explaining I wasn't happy and a week has passed now and 1 am still waiting for a response. To me they're happy they've got the money and the stay is complete so now they don't care about customers returning. It is a shame as it is a nice place.

Lovely location. Quiet and restful away from the nearest village with an abundance of bird life from our deck. Very clean accommodation. Well equipped. Sparkling clean hot tub, up to temperature when we arrived. A personal preference, I think the main bedroom which is a really good size would benefit from a king-size bed. We faced the lake and our deck felt very private with no-one opposite us. We visited for a weekend in March and thought it was good value.
