It has a really handy footpath nearby which went into Millhouses park, which was great for the dog. Also convenient for city centre, whilst being very quiet. Everything we needed for the weekend whilst our son was swimming at Ponds Forge.

The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Tracey was there when we arrived and was at the end of the phone, when we had a question, throughout our stay. Will was very responsive when the smoke alarm went off due to a problem with the oven door that they are getting replaced. The beds are very comfortable. The on suite has a soft mattress which we loved but others are firmer if you prefer that. The internet can go down for a short time in the evenings when the demand increases but we were able to get it back on by rebooting the router. We noticed that the water, when running a bath, runs hot then cold for a minute or two but if you leave the taps on it goes hot again and runs a lovely hot bath. There is a path into the woods and Millhouses park by the house next door and that is ideal for dogs. The back garden doesnât have a gate but there is an old door to slide across to keep small dogs in the garden. We didnât use the garden as it was wet and quite dark during our stay but we didnât need it with the park being so close. We would recommend the house for other visitors. Ideally placed in the South of Sheffield for local walks and the Peak District as well as Sheffield City Centre.
