The cobbled streets are lined with fascinating independent shops, whilst the out of town centres at the Designer Outlet, Monks Cross and the Vangarde are perfect for some retail therapy. We had a very warm welcome from Peter when we arrived, who showed us round and had the kettle on for us. Very generous welcome pack including teas, coffees, milk, breakfast items and other goodies. The flat was very well furnished and the kitchen well stocked if you wanted to prepare meals, although we were out to eat every day so never got much use of it! Only 5 minutes walk to Monkgate and the Minster so excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly look to return in the future. Thank you x

A wonderful 4 nights stay, just a short walk into the walled City of York. Parking off road in the apartment car park was a bonus.Peter the host went above and beyond what we are used to, he was there to greet us with the kettle boiled and gave us a quick guided tour before leaving. The apartment was stocked up with tea, coffee, biscuits, cereals, milk bread and chocs. Would definitely recommend this apartment and this will be the first place we search when returning.
