This eco-friendly, off-grid property is set on its own with only a minute’s walk from the beach. Its quiet location allowing an escape from everyday life. Enjoy beautiful views from the floor-to-ceiling windows while sitting in front of a lovely wood burner. Local amenities are a short drive away with internationally recognised golf courses, country parks, castles and whisky trails as well as beautiful beaches.

Our second visit to Drums Beach House. It truly is the most wonderful, peaceful and beautiful place. The beach house itself is gorgeous, clean, comfortable and spacious. It has everything you would need during your stay. The views around the beach house are something else. The beach is gorgeous, barely a soul around.. We were so sad to leave but thankfully we have already booked for next year.

Quite honestly the best cottage we have ever stayed in!The house itself is stunning - so well designed, exceptionally clean (and smells wonderful!). The sofas and bed were super comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to operate the oven! Ample parking! The location is sensational! Less than 20 mins from Aberdeen but so peaceful and quiet! We had miles of beach totally to ourselves!Wonderful walks in both directions and so much wildlife (rabbits and deer in the garden!)The views are staggering and we happily spent time just gazing out!Simply outstanding - didn’t want to leave!

There are places you enjoy and then there are places you simply don’t want to leave. Drums Beach House was that place for us.We spent a week here and honestly only scratched the surface of this beautiful part of Scotland. Most days we didn’t even want to go anywhere. We’d sit by those amazing windows, watch the ever-changing dunes, listen to the sea, cook, enjoy a glass of wine, and simply be.The setting is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and beautifully connected to nature. The house has absolutely everything you could need and instantly feels like a home rather than a holiday rental.A heartfelt thank you to Peter and Ruth. Your kindness, warmth, and care made an already spectacular place even more special.We’ll be back next year. Thank you for having us.
