This was our third stay at Meeks Park. We'd previously stayed in the neighbouring lodge but this time we had the Orchard - very similar but a slightly different layout inside. Once again we really enjoyed our stay. The lodge is very comfortable and well equipped and was well prepared for our arrival. There is a big range of things to see and do in the surrounding area, especially if you like walking and/or history but equally Meeks Park is a quiet retreat where you can enjoy the lovely views and watching the owners' horses in the paddocks. The owners make you feel very welcome and are very informative about the local area.

Stephen and Lynn were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We arrived quite late, around 10pm, but Stephen was there waiting to greet us warmly and immediately made us feel at home. He also gave us great recommendations on places to visit and nearby spots to eat, which we really appreciated. The accommodation itself is beautiful, cosy, and fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was waking up in the morning and spotting hares running through the garden, along with Stephen and Lynns lovely animals, including their horses. Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable. We truly loved our time here, and this will definitely be our first choice whenever we plan another trip to Scotland.
