Lovely cottage in a rural setting yet only 10 minutes from civilisation. Very clean and comfortable. Needs modernising inside but that is reflected in the reasonable pricing. Only negative for us was the faint smell.of stale urine in main bedroom.

We have visited Dumfries and Galloway area few times before. Absolutely beautiful place with rolling hills and field with beautiful cows. Lovely, cosy cottage. Spacious and comfortable. Perfect for peaceful escape. Well equipped throughout. Best part for me was no WI-FI and signal was poor for me so it was so wonderful to disconnect from the internet and all those distractions. We played DVDs, played word games, read books, did bird spotting in the garden and explored the area. Living room had a fantastic view. I would definitely recommend the area and the cottage.
