A real home from home for us with all the facilities vwe needed for a week's stay. The secure rear garden was ideal for our German Shepherd to lie out on the grass. All the equipment you will need to prepare and cook meals is provided and the fact it is a bungalow is a plus as our 91 year old mother who has limited mobility paid a visit.A real plus is the proximity of Dalbeattie wood where you can literally walk for miles amid total peace and quiet. We will be returning later in the year to again enjoy what Springfield has to offer.

We went away for a quiet few days with the dogs over New Year and we weren't disappointed. Home away from home. The property was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the lovely treats left for us, a really nice touch. Ricky and Fiona are excellent hosts. Location also very good, near shops and a 10min drive to Sandyhills Beach. 10/10 value for money.

Another enjoyable stay at Springfield. A proper home from home with spacious accomodation, a well equipped kitchen, secure garden for our dog and easy access to the nearby woods.
