The River Nith runs through the town with attractive and peaceful walks and public parks.

A fabulous cottage which was decorated so lovingly, to create a warm and cosy environment. The owners were lovely as well showing us round and then advising if we needed anything just to ask. Could not recommend highly enough.

Lovely property just outside the town centre. Made welcome by very friendly owners. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will use again if necessary. A lovely dog friendly cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage. It was very clean and comfortable with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Owners were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient - less than 10 mins walk from the centre of Dumfries, and all the museums/ points of interest. Railway station is about 20 mins walk. Supermarkets and takeaways within 1 mile and we would recommend Kilnford farm shop about 5 mins drive. It’s a good base to explore the region by car as well.
