Let's start with getting there, do not trust your sat nav the shortest route is not always the quickest, pay attention to the owners directions. The cottage is one of the best we have stayed in, well thought out well equipped with comfortable and suitable furnishings, the kitchen is well appointed and would acomodate most needs. The cottage was clean and has been maintained to a high standard. The garden is enclosed and even though it was March we were able to use it, with the variety of farm animals just over the fence, and a sea view too boot. The local amenities were adequate for our needs with shops near enough to be convenient without being too close. For me being my first time in South West Scotland, this is one of the most underated corners of Scotland, having all that the far north has too offer without the ardious journey. The last question in any review is "would you go back", absolutely and we will return to Garrie cottage and thank the family for a wonderful break.
