The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being clean and well-kept. One review mentioned limescale on taps, but this seems an isolated comment amidst overall positive feedback.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful sea views, proximity to beaches, and peaceful village setting. Guests appreciate the local walks and the tranquillity of the area.
The cottage is frequently described as cosy and comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues with water pressure and bedding, slightly impacting the comfort score.
While the cottage is generally well-regarded for its equipment and cleanliness, some guests noted the kitchen is a bit dated and the fridge/freezer too small. There are also comments on minor maintenance issues, leading to a good but not excellent score.
The welcome pack, including wine, is frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this score reflects the positive sentiment while acknowledging the variability of such offerings.

The cottage is pet friendly and we love having them stay, but please ensure you bring them beds, so they do not sleep on the furniture or the beds.
Please note that the heating is controlled remotely and if the temperature does not suit you, please call Angela to make adjustments.

We’ve been to this cottage for the last 3 years. It suits us perfectly as a relaxing home from home

Cosy cottage in great spot looking out to the bay. Generous coal, etc left for first couple of fires. Very comfy furniture but a bit skimpy on the small things. A throw in living room would be welcome. No milk jug so had to pour from 4pt plastic bottle each time. Pan scrubber well worn and useless. One t towel for the week. One jeye cloth for all bathroom, basin and toilet. Glass basin put on wrong way round, so the front was higher. I had to stand on tip toes when cleaning teeth. The tap and tap nozzle had limescale which made them look unclean. Had to bring small table from nest into bathroom as nowhere to put clothes, make up etc. The heating temp was about right for us but had it not been, I'd have felt reluctant to contact the owner to change it. We actually had a lovely stay but because of these small, easily fixed criticisms, I could not give full marks.
