My wife and I plus our border terrier loved the cottage it is 15-20 mins walk to the beach,it has a lovely sheltered garden,perfect on sunny daysWe self catered every evening and we had all the equipment we needed in the Cottage,the bed was very comfortable and we slept very well,it is a nice quiet locations,plus owners are very friendlyWe gave it an average mark for amenities only because nearest main shops are 14 miles away in Stranraer but all this means is some planning and the Cottage and location more than make up for this

Exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank you to Steve for being a great host . We were looking for a quite time , some long walks and some scenery . Galloway had this in abundance. Port logan a short walk away the dog was very pleased aswell. Highly recommended Rose cottage was clean , tidy and equipped to pass the dark February night's. With lots of reading materials , dvds and wildlife all around , we had a great time .Thanks again

Just home from a 4 night stay in Rose Cottage, beautiful little traditional cottage with lovely views, and garden ,very peaceful with the sound of little birds in garden, nice clean comfortable cottage with everything you need, owners Steve and Marie very friendly and welcoming highly recommend 🙂
