For anyone who enjoys a working farm, away from the town, this is a gem of a find.Lovely, welcoming hostess.Fantastic spacious and well equipt dining kitchen. Plenty of parking.Three generational family holiday....loved by all ❤️

The Old Cheese Loft is a lovely cottage which is extremely well equipped with everything you need readily at hand. Plenty of pans, cutlery and crockery. Cleaning products and toilet rolls supplied and a lovely welcome pack upon arrival. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom and shower room are really very spacious. Parking is plentiful and easy. There are planty of places to visit nearby, (Portpatrick, Port Logan, Mull of Galloway) and a little further affield there is Isle of Whithorn, Wigtown, Girvan and even Ayr. Our visit was in winter time when the cows on the working farm are indoors so they were a little noisy at times but not too intrusive. I would not hesitate in recommending this property to others. The only way it could be improved would be perhaps to supply a dressing table in one of the bedrooms to assist when hairdrying and styling following a shower.
