It is a lovely location and the beds and linen were fine. The furniture is very shabby, a smelly sofa with cigarette burns and a reclining chair that didn't. Many of the light fittings were missing bulbs, or didn't work at all.The kitchen equipment was all very dirty, all had to be washed before use.The shower head would not stay in place, and there was a horribly rusty shower caddy. There wasn't so much as a pint of milk to welcome us.It's such a shame, it's a great location and has so much potential for improvement if these things are addressed.

Had a great holiday. Very relaxed and quiet area. Accommodation was great and it had everything we needed for our stay. Dogs loved the garden as did we. 1st stay in Portpatrick and we will definitely be back.
