Guests say

Stronvaar is a beautifully presented, spacious bungalow in Stranraer, praised for its immaculate cleanliness, comfort, and excellent facilities. Guests consistently highlight the well-equipped kitchen, large garden with a delightful summer house, and thoughtful touches from the owners. Its convenient location near local amenities and as a base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway is frequently mentioned. The property is especially suitable for families and groups, with ample space and accessibility. Minor issues, such as the upstairs shower room's low ceiling and occasional heating queries, are far outweighed by overwhelmingly positive feedback.

Guests repeatedly describe the property as spotlessly clean, immaculate, and well maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Lidl, the town centre, and as a base for exploring the region. A few note Stranraer itself is quiet, but the property’s position is considered excellent overall.

Reviewers consistently mention the spaciousness, comfort, and homely feel of the bungalow, with special appreciation for the garden and summer house. One minor note about the upstairs shower room’s low ceiling does not detract from the overall comfort.

The property is described as very well equipped, with modern appliances, an air fryer, and a large garden with a summer house. Only minor issues are mentioned, such as central heating instructions and linen changes for longer stays.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with milk, biscuits, and Prosecco, as well as fresh flowers. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
