The beautiful village of Drummore is not only the largest and most southerly of all the Rhins villages, it also happens to be the most southerly village in all of Scotland. Home to a Post Office, a charming harbour and three local pubs, this quiet and peaceful fishing village benefits from the warmth of the Gulf Stream and receives less rainfall than the rest of Western Scotland, whilst during the winter months the wind exhilarates walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The surrounding landscape is wild and spectacular, boasting stunning views across Luce Bay to the Machars of Galloway, whilst across the peninsula visitors can enjoy views of Ireland's Antrim Hill, the Mountains of Mourne, the Cumbrian coast and the ridge of Mona's Isle on the Isle of Man, all visible on a clear day.
