With views of Traprain Law, this traditional, detached holiday cottage on a family farm is just 1.5 miles from Haddington and within easy reach of 19 golf courses and the lovely beaches of East Lothian. Spacious and comfortable, this is a peaceful spot from which to explore, with quiet side roads ideal for cycling, the Lammermuir Hills for great walks, and historic houses and castles to visit. Edinburgh is an easy day out, just 14 minutes by train from Drem, a relaxing way to make the most of this vibrant city at any time of year. Haddington has a good range of local shops, pubs and restaurants, 1.5 miles.

We absolutely loved our stay at Eliza Cottage. This was a beautiful cottage on a working farm, high on a hill just outside Haddington. The views from the cottage were stunning, and there was a sun room where you could sit and watch the cattle as the sun went down - bliss!The cottage was spacious and very comfortable, and had every amenity that we needed. The location was ideal as everything we wanted to see and do was quite close to Haddington, which is the perfect location for exploring East Lothian. We visited Dunbar, North Berwick, Dirleton and its castle, Tantallon Castle, East Fortune Airfield, Yellowcraig beach and Binning Wood.We enjoyed our holiday so much that we plan to revisit East Lothian, and would definitely love to stay at Eliza Cottage again.

A very comfortable, well equipped cottage finished to an unusually high standard. Plenty of storage and easy parking for one car. Very friendly owner who has thought of everything ...even down to a washing basket for moving wet laundry! We loved the rear sunroom with far reaching views and great sunsets. Peaceful location, yet there are 3 train stations within 15-20 mins drive for easy access to Edinburgh.

We had a wonderful week at Eliza Cottage. A perfectly located and immaculate well equipped place. Most things we did were within a 20 minute drive but we spent a fair bit of time at the cottage though as it was relaxing, spacious and comfortable. Loved the sun room in the evening and the garden area was perfect for eating outdoors on the warmer daysThe owners were friendly and welcoming. We would recommend staying here to everyone we know!
