Lawford Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and peaceful rural setting with beautiful views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms, and the thoughtful touch of a welcome basket. The property serves as an excellent base for exploring nearby attractions and is ideal for family stays.

Guests consistently note the property is 'very clean and tidy' and 'as clean as a whistle', indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the lodge.

The lodge is appreciated for its peaceful rural location with lovely views, though some guests had initial difficulty finding it. Its proximity to local attractions and ease of access to nearby towns is well-regarded.

The lodge is described as cosy and relaxing, with spacious rooms and a homely feel. However, some guests mention that the mattresses could be updated for improved comfort.

The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but some guests report minor maintenance issues such as a dishwasher shelf collapsing and a toilet not flushing properly. These issues slightly affect the overall experience.

The welcome basket with basic food supplies is a delightful touch mentioned by guests, though it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided on every occasion.

The cottage is beautiful. It was not easy to find but once you get your landmarks it was fine. Close to Falkirk and the train. The owners of the cottage are very accommodating and are a phone call or email away if you need them.

We had a fantastic time at Lawford Lodge. Only niggkes we had was that we arrived a lot later than originally planned and we have some difficulty in finding the property - out sat sav took us to the top farm instead of the holday house. We figured it out and when we arrived at the property, it was perfect, nice and warm, was very clean and tidy. It would have been nice to have a small bottle of milk on the fridge to make a cup of tea the following morning, however this was soon remidied by popping to the Spar, which was only 5 mins by car. The location was perfect to use a s a base, we went to Edinburgh on one of the days, the falkinks wheel and the Keplies onother day and we also visited the town of Callander as well, went into the local shops, did the circuit walk bear the falls. It was lovely to be able to come back in the evening and prepart dinners - everthing we needed was there, plenty of local shops within 15 minutes by car so lots of choise. I would 100% recommend Lawford Lodge as a holiday home, we will definatley be back again on the future when we visit Scotland again.
