No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake in the grounds, 10 yards away.. A delightful, mid-terraced cottage with glorious views over Carribber Loch and the surrounding woodland. This is an ideal base for friends and families to relax in, just 3 miles from historic Linlithgow and an easy 25-minute train journey from Edinburgh. Carribber Beech Cottage lies within the extensive grounds of the owner’s home with a trout fishery in the lochs beside the cottages. The cottage has three attractive bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan ground floor living area which opens onto a private patio area.
There are good walks from the doorstep, with more extended routes nearby. Linlithgow Palace, the House of the Binns and Hopetoun House give fascinating insights into life in past times, or you can visit the gigantic Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel to admire contemporary engineering and design. There is easy access to Stirling and Glasgow, as well as Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. Beach 17 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Really nice cottage on a fishing lake a few miles out of Linlithgow, 3 really nice bedrooms, one with on-suite, and the others also had their own separate bathrooms. Living area nice and comfortable even with 6 of us in there. Couldn't fault it.

Very good and suitable for 6 persons. Well equipped kitchen, large bedrooms and very nice owners. 👍👍. Beautiful surroundings with lovely sheep.
