Set on the fringes of Aviemore village, a wonderful location for enjoying the great outdoors in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, these superbly appointed and beautifully furnished properties offer a very high degree of comfort. Sitting in a quiet cul de sac, they are ideal for family gatherings. All of the four properties (refs S4401, S4402, S4615 and S4538) enjoy their own private hot tub (each for 4 people) and each have a digital, infrared sauna with music and colour system, Sky Q TVs and hairdryers in all bedrooms. There is also bike and eco-bike hire available. Aviemore is a renowned centre for outdoor pursuits – excellent climbing and hill walking, competition standard mountain bike tracks, water sports on Lochs Morlich and Insch and, of course, skiing and snow boarding in season are just some of the activities on offer. The fishing and golf are similarly excellent, with trout fishing available all year at Rothiemurchus Estate, 2 miles, or hire equipment (at cost, licence required) for salmon fishing at the River Spey (seasonal). Sled dog rides, train trips to the resort at the top of the mountain, and the Strathspey steam railway are also found here and Britain’s only freely roaming reindeer herd can be spotted against the stunning backdrop of Glenmore. Shops, good restaurants, themed bars, live music are all within ½ mile. Other great attractions in the area are The Highland Wildlife Centre with Amur tigers, wolves and polar bear, The Landmark Centre, Tree Zone; an incredible aerial adventure and Aviemore Highland Resort Leisure Centre with its own wavepool, water slides and cinema.. Wonderful location and amenities!! Games room and hot tub were such a bonus. The hot meal when we arrived was outstanding, certainly needed after an 8 hour journey. Cannot fault it will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay. There was a meal cooking in the slow cooker on a timer with accompaniments to go with it and a breakfast hamper welcome pack. This was a lovely touch. The house was lovely, comfortable and had lots of extras than the standard holiday house with the hot tub and games room and with extra kitchen equipment like the ice machine which was a huge hit with our teenagers. Kitchen well equipped with air fryer as well as the standard cooker etc. Fully enclosed garden which meant it was safe to let our dog out. Sky TV was a nice extra too with mini boxes in bedrooms too! One thing we would have appreciated was blackout blinds/curtains as in Scotland in the summer there are not many hours of dark. Overall it was a super house we would love to return to.

What a wonderful house! Cairn VIew is such a lovely property and caters superbly for all generations. It is a real home from home. The house is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and welcoming and is well equipped with everything you need and more to make a great holiday. Our grandchildren were kept busy all the time with the hot tub, the games in the garage and garden and they loved the electronic game in the lounge. The meal left for us in the slow cooker was delicious and very welcome after a long journey with puddings left in the fridge and breakfast goodies left as well. We really did not want to leave, we could have easily stayed for much longer. When we visit Aviemore again this is the house we will definitely book to stay in so we can certainly recommend Cairn View.
