Just back from a wonderful stay at Oakwood! The site was spotless and had a lovely play park that the kids really enjoyed. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.There was a burger van open one evening while we were there and the food was really tasty - a nice touch!We did have a small issue in our first glamping pod with a few unwanted visitors (fruit flies, I think), but the staff dealt with it immediately and moved us to another pod. Our new pod was perfect - clean, comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen area and an excellent shower.The location was ideal — about a 25-minute walk into Aviemore’s main street - and perfect for all our planned activities. We had a lovely Indian meal at the far end of Aviemore, which we’d definitely recommend to other guests. Aldi and Home Bargains are only about five minutes away by car too, which was very convenient.All in all, we had a fantastic few days and would definitely return. Thank you to the Oakwood team for such a lovely stay!

The pod was lovely and had everything we needed to enjoy a break in Aviemore. Well stocked kitchenette meant we could prepare meals. The site itself was lovely with well maintained facilities. We would book to come back again.

We have stayed at Oakwood campsite before but this was our first time Glamping. We had a fantastic time and would totally recommend the Glamping pods. The best part was that they’re dog friendly!!They had everything we could have asked for bedding, towels, utensils, brush, etc. Lovely covered area with table and chairs. Great outdoor storage for keeping wet items, skis or bikes. The staff were friendly and helpful with lots of advice on the area and surrounding.
