Strathspey Lodge is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its ideal location for exploring the Highlands and its suitability for family gatherings and celebrations. Guests have enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, dog-friendly environment, and the convenience of woodland walks. The living area and enclosed gardens are particular highlights, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The lodge's cleanliness has received mixed feedback. While no widespread issues are reported, some guests noted areas that could benefit from more thorough cleaning, such as dusty toy rooms and dirty windows. However, these comments are not representative of all guests' experiences.
The location is highly praised for its stunning setting and convenience as a base to visit the Cairngorms. It is ideal for guests looking to explore the Highlands, though it is noted to be an hour's drive from Inverness.
Overall, guests find the property comfortable, with a special mention of the living area and the homely feel of the lodge. However, some discomfort was expressed regarding the basement room, which affected the score slightly.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially for family holidays and gatherings. The enclosed gardens and wood burner are appreciated features. Some guests, however, felt that certain areas, like the toy room, could be better maintained.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Generally an ok stay, but definitely wouldnt recommend if you are planning to head here to enjoy Invernes. Its an hour drive to the city. Also did not like the basement large room at all. None of us felt comfortable when we went down to take a look and ended up squeezing together in the upper floors. Toy room was dusty too. Yellow lights everywhere. Just made the whole house look gloomy and dark. Living area was awesome as seen in the pictures but thats about it.
