The setting up Strathconon with loch and hill views is truly spectacular. The house itself is a gem having been finished to a very high standard. It’s an outstanding holiday home for the entire family to enjoy!.

This eco-friendly, large holiday home is built into the hillside in the Strathconon Glen, close to Loch Meig. Rathad an Drobhair (pronounced raa-had an droh-vir) gets it’s name from the old drovers road that was to the front of the house. The Gaelic name translates to ’drovers way’. The property is an upside down house, with the main living areas on the first floor, with great views of Loch Meig from the living room and balcony. The holiday home is ideal for families or groups of up to 10, for those wanting to get away from it all and relax in the beauty of the unspoilt Strathconon Glen. That said, this holiday home is just 10 miles from Strathpeffer and is still an excellent base for exploring the Highlands. Dingwall is 14 miles away, and further 15 miles from Dingwall is the city of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
