Ard Taigh is a spacious, detached bungalow in an elevated position within the small village of Fearnan, on the shore of Loch Tay. Perfect for family groups who want to explore the area, guests will find a welcoming and comfortable holiday home with plenty of space for all to enjoy. The bright living room with cosy sofas and large TV gives you plenty of space to unwind and relax. With floor to ceiling windows and doors leading to the front gardens and patio, you can take full advantage of the splendid views. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for preparing a meal for the whole family which you can enjoy in the large, stylish dining room. The utility room is ideal for storing outdoor clothing and equipment. The sun room is a good place to enjoy a glass of wine on cooler days, and on warmer days guests can venture outside where they will find ample garden and patio space to sit out and enjoy the sun.
There is much to do in this picturesque area of Highland Perthshire, just 3 miles along the road at the end of Loch Tay is the pretty conservation village of Kenmore, where guests can enjoy riverside walks, water sports, boat trips on the loch and several excellent places to eat. The village hosts regular events, each January there is a ceremony to mark the opening of the salmon fishing season and a firework display at New Year. Aberfeldy is only a 20-minute drive and has many local independent shops, a supermarket, galleries, eating places, a cinema, a whisky distillery and an award-winning book shop.
Take a Highland safari, a great way to explore the mountains, and spot local wildlife including deer, peregrine falcons, ospreys and golden eagles. This area has many historic buildings, castles and gardens which you can visit and discover the rich history of the area. There are ample opportunities for walking and routes for all abilities, with the Ben Lawers 7 Munro circuit within 10 miles. Drummond Hill is close by and has some great walking routes to view points where you can see some of the most spectacular scenery. There are many mountain biking trails through the forest, as well as white water rafting, bungee jumping and horse riding close by. Golfers will be spoilt for choice with numerous nine and 18-hole courses available nearby. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Ard Taigh was ideal for our small family get together. A great location for our golf enthusiasts and for our trip to The Enchanted Forest. Very well equipped kitchen with all you need for self catering. Comfortable beds and lounge furniture made it perfect for a relaxing time.

House was great for our needs, well equipped with everything you could want. Good Quality crockery, glassware & cutlery - a few smaller knives would be good. Plenty room for everyone and beautiful views which change all the time. We enjoyed a fab weekend and used the house to the max !

What a fantastic place Ard Taigh is. Great location with an amazing view of Loch Tay from the living room. It was clean, very well equipped and the games room was very much enjoyed by all. Superb.
