Osprey View Lodge & Hot Tub in Aberfeldy is a well-regarded holiday rental, praised for its stunning views, well-equipped kitchen, and beautifully decorated interiors. Guests have enjoyed the hot tub and found the property to be a comfortable base for activities. While there was an isolated issue with hot tub cleanliness, it was promptly addressed. The lodge's hilltop location offers spectacular views, though the steep access may challenge some visitors.
The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it nice and clean. However, there was a significant complaint about the hot tub's condition upon arrival, which lowers the score. The issue was resolved quickly, demonstrating good responsiveness to maintenance.
The location is highly praised for its amazing views and proximity to local attractions and activities. The steep hill access is noted, but it does not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.
Guests have found the beds comfortable and the lodge cosy, although one review mentioned an uncomfortably hard mattress in the master suite. The lack of air circulation on warmer nights was also a concern for one guest.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the lodge being equipped with everything required for a pleasant stay. The hot tub is a highlight, despite one mention of it being small for larger groups. Some feedback suggests improvements in lighting and hot tub cover handling.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The market town of Aberfeldy stands on the River Tay amidst beautiful scenery in rural Perthshire. Famous for its association with Burns and his poem The Birks Of Aberfeldy, and also the bridge built for General Wade in 1733, Aberfeldy is just south of Glen Lyon, known as the longest, loneliest, and loveliest glen in Scotland. There is much to attract the visitor in addition to the spectacular scenery. There is a 10 mile riverside walk for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as numerous paths through forest and countryside. Recommend the Ailean Chraggan at Weem for dinner. And also visit to Farmers market at Aberfeldy on the Sunday. Suggest site owners put up a sign at the road entrance and also a map of the site, just so we know where our specific lodge sits!

Extremely well cleaned and everything provided. Only couple of negatives being that the main Bathroom could be a bit chilly and towel rail didn't heat up much. Great hot tub but taking cover on and off was a bit difficult as you have to be in the water to do so and you need two people to do it safely. Also not much lighting on the decking. Absolutely beautiful property and we enjoyed being here
