We had a lovely stay at Eilean Donan. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful and the welcome basket was superb. The location was peaceful and the bungalow had a great layout and was immaculately clean. Although we were on a work trip, we were able to take advantage of lovely local walks and a visit to the coast - a perfect combination of a peaceful tranquil location with easy access to places to visit. We'd love to stay again soon!

From the minute we arrived until the day we left, our stay was perfect. We were greeted by Mike who showed us round and told us how everything worked. I was a little apprehensive about the cottage being on the owners property but there was no need. Mike and Denise were there if we needed any help but otherwise we never saw them. When we arrived, there was a welcome basket which was the best we've ever received. The kitchen was very well equipped and the place was warm and comfortable. Whilst we were there I celebrated my birthday and were able to invite family to celebrate. The property is less than a 10 minute drive from Livingston and a short walk from the local train station which will take you to Edinburgh. Although it's just off the A71, it's very peaceful and we were often entertained by cute little rabbits and a fearless fox. We'll definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the property.
