Puddingstone Cottage is highly praised for its warmth, cosiness, and tranquil setting, with stunning views and a homely feel. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the proximity to a friendly local pub. The cottage's location is ideal for outdoor activities and offers a peaceful village atmosphere.
Most guests found the cottage clean, with particular mention of clean bedrooms and bathrooms. However, a few noted areas that could be improved, such as a dusty living room and a kitchen grill that needed more attention.
The location is consistently lauded for its stunning views and peaceful village setting. It's a great base for outdoor activities like cycling and walking, with easy access to local attractions. The absence of a nearby shop is noted, but the local pub's proximity is a plus.
Guests describe the cottage as cosy, warm, and inviting, with quality furniture and bedding. The presence of underfloor heating and a wood burner adds to the comfort, although some guests found the burner challenging to use.
The cottage is well-appointed with books, games, and DVDs, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking. However, some guests experienced issues with the heating control, bike storage, and a lack of instructions for appliances.
The owner's warm welcome and responsiveness are frequently mentioned, and guests appreciate the provision of essentials. While some guests received treats, it's important to note that such gestures, though delightful, are offered at the owner's discretion.

Would recommend 100%. Lovely cottage with quality furniture and bedding. Everything you needed for stay had been provided by the owner who met us at the property when we arrived, she had even lit the log burner for us as it had been a wet miserable day. The community owned pub/restaurant is 2 minutes away, friendly staff and good food.
