Guests say

The Barnsdale is a well-liked cottage in Amlwch, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable interiors, and dog-friendly environment. Guests appreciate its convenient location for exploring Anglesey and the welcoming atmosphere of the local area, with mentions of friendly pubs and a chippy. Some guests noted the need for maintenance, particularly in the outdoor area and furnishings, but overall, the property provides good value and a comfortable base for a holiday.

Most guests found The Barnsdale to be clean, with several positive remarks about its tidiness. However, a few mentioned stained furniture and carpets, which slightly affects the score.

The location is frequently praised for being a good base to explore Anglesey and its proximity to local amenities. The ease of access to nearby attractions and the charm of the harbour village contribute to a high score.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy atmosphere. However, comments about the need for new beds and the steepness of the stairs suggest room for improvement in comfort.

The Barnsdale is described as well-equipped and clean, with a good kitchen and washing facilities. However, the need for garden maintenance, updated furniture, and clearer waste disposal instructions have led to a moderate score.

Several guests were pleased with the welcome pack, which added a thoughtful touch to their stay. It is important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, may not always be provided and are not guaranteed.

Enjoyable stay, thanks. I'd be very likely to visit again if I were staying on Anglesey

The Barns dale is a nicely modernised little house in the old port town of Amlych which a good place to stay on Anglesey. Unfortunately for us though was the awful weather. Because of this we returned home a day early. Whilst there we visited Holyhead, Beaumaris, Bangor, Llanfair........, and the beach at Benllech. All well worth seeing. Amlwch Port Chippy and the vaults pub next door were lovely and very welcoming. The Bull got at Beaumaris was good for a nice birthday lunch.

we really enjoyed our stay but yes as other people have said it is time for the sofa to be either cleaned or replaced. the bin problem cannot be helpt as there is no where else for them to go, we did struggle to park but it was not an issue as the car park a couple of minutes walk. Loved the area and we were made very welcome. please bear in mind that this is not an expensive cottage and is good value for money.
