No smoking. . 9 Park Isallt is located in a small and private residential area only 100 yards from the sea in the idyllic tourist hot spot of Trearddur Bay. Located on the west coast of Holy Island off the north west coast of Anglesey in North Wales, Trearddur Bay has its own eco climate and its beaches are some of the best on the Island. The main beach is located literally on the doorstep of this property and Porth Dafarch the second beach is less than a mile away has been awarded Blue Flag status. There are some shallow scuba diving sites on the beach and sea kayaking; sailing and sea fishing are popular leisure pursuits. The historic name for Trearddur Bay is Tywyn y Capel, and at the centre of the beach lies and ancient burial ground known by the old name which was excavated in 2003. There are two general shops in the centre of the village only half a mile from the property, along with a garage, two golf courses (one renowned 18 hole and a small 9 hole), and many hotels including the large Trearddur Bay Hotel located behind the property. It may be possible for guests using the hotel to also use the leisure facilities.

Red bins are emptied weekly, black bins only every 3 weeks.
The heating is controlled by the wall thermostat in the hall, please turn down when leaving.

We have had several issues with the holiday accommodation during our stay.1. The patio doors were locked and would not open. Not only is this contrary to health and safety regulations but is against the law. The property had no second exit from the property only the main entrance. As you are no doubt aware in law there has to be to entrance/exits to and from the holiday. If there had been a fire there would have been fatalities.2. The bulk of the windows would not open.3. The front door lock is faulty.4. The hot water tap to the sink did not work in the main bathroom. We did advise the owners of this during our stay and stated it was ok as the hot bath tap worked and we could manage.5. We could not hoover as the hoover provided did not work.6. Faults which had been reported by previous holidaymakers remained unchanged and not fixed for 18 to 24 months ago. This information was obtained via reviews with cottages.com.7 the mattress my children were sleeping on was disgusting. It was soiled and stained by blood/excrement/urine or vomit. I purchased an additional mattress protector. Would you be happy sleeping on this mattress? Its absolutely disgusting.8 The bed in the ensuite room was very uncomfortable. Black wires hanging from the tv were unsightly. The lights we were unsure of b3cause of the buzzing sound The bungalow is situated in a nice area but needs refreshing, the issues with locks the tap and the disgusting mattress need addressing. If this accommodation was given a little love and care it would be an absolute gem.

Arrived to find key safe open and key on floor rusted, looked like been there for months. French doors would not open due to faulty locks. Some windows would not open, one window would not close. No water feeding to hot tap in bathroom looked like switched off somewhere. Rug in hall full of bits, obviously not been hoovered. Bed in en suite room very uncomfortable, needs new mattress. Has lots of potential but needs overall maintenance. Owners were hard to get in touch due to them being on holiday themselves which is fair enough so therefore nobody answering phone. We made the best of a bad situation.
