Located in a stunning, elevated position in the fishing village of Cemaes Bay, nestled at the north tip of Anglesey, is this unusual property offering flexible accommodation for couples, families and friends. Drive through the pretty village and follow the beach road up to the small hamlet of Penrhyn, where you will find Beacon Cottage perched on the south headland. Its spectacular coastal views are simply breathtaking and can be enjoyed from the kitchen window while you are preparing a delicious meal and continue through the downstairs bedrooms or out in the extended garden where you can sit out with a reviving beverage. This upside down layout benefits four bedrooms, consisting of a ground floor 5' four poster bed, a ground floor double and two twin rooms both on the ground floor. The lounge on the first floor features a beautiful stone fireplace housing a gas stove, offering a wonderful area to curl up with a book. The fully equipped kitchen boasts a small breakfast bar and modern appliances, with a utility/store room with freezer and where games can be found. Head to the dining room to eat your evening meals; benefiting dual aspect windows which look out towards the open sea and across to the entrance of the harbour, enjoying a romantic sunset, casting its orange glow over the glistening water. Beacon Cottage offers some wonderful wild garden areas, each designed to give shelter from the wind and more privacy, the perfect place to sit and relax and enjoy a warm summers' day. The walls, hedges and gates ensure dogs and little ones are secure. The unspoiled seaside village of Cemaes boasts charm of days gone by, with a rugged coastline reminding you of a typical Cornish village, offering something for everyone. It is a hive of activity, with three pubs, shops, an award-winning chip shop, harbour and sandy beach edged by verdant cliffs. Take some time to fully explore the island, it is renowned for its miles of stunning coastline, watersports, walking and cycling, enticing those outdoor enthusiasts. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Anglesey Heritage Coast, the seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to three pubs, shops, an award-winning chip shop, a cafe and Visitor Centre, a harbour and a beach edged by grassy cliffs. The Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of coastline offering walking and cycling, renowned birdwatching, watersports, fishing and many quality golf courses. The well-known Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach on the island.
