Destiny Rose is a well-regarded cottage in Whitby, appreciated for its comfortable beds, spaciousness, and convenient location. Guests have enjoyed the property's proximity to the town centre and the added benefit of parking. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and some guests were delighted by the welcome touches upon arrival. While some guests have suggested areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Reviews indicate a mix of experiences regarding cleanliness. While some guests found the property spotless, others noted issues such as dust, dirty skirting boards, and uncleaned areas. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for being close to Whitby's centre, with easy access to the town, beach, and local attractions. The availability of parking is frequently mentioned as a significant advantage.
Guests have consistently noted the comfortable beds and the spaciousness of the property. However, some have mentioned that certain furniture could be more comfortable, slightly impacting the overall comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a modern kitchen and the inclusion of parking. However, maintenance issues such as non-functioning showers and broken blinds have been flagged, suggesting a need for attention to detail.
While some guests mentioned welcome biscuits and useful local information provided by the owner, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category.

The living room furniture is dated, but the sofa and chairs are very comfortable. The beds were a great size and comfortable. The bedding was good quality. The kitchen was well equipped, but some kitchen scissors would have been useful. The house is in a great location and it was easy to walk into the centre of Whitby from it. The parking was not a problem and we found space directly outside the house. In all we had a really lovely weekend and would recommend Destiny Rose as a great homely place to stay.
Steve
Lounge and bedrooms spacious and comfortable

Also a pair of scissors and bread knife would be useful unless we just didnât see them. Saying all this I would recommend this property
