Magnolia Cottage is praised for its excellent location and spaciousness, ideal for large groups and family stays. The property's proximity to Aberaeron town and its amenities is consistently appreciated, as is the ample parking and garden space. While the characterful features and large kitchen table are highlights, guests suggest that the property would benefit from some refurbishment and a thorough cleaning.
Several reviews mention issues with cleanliness, including dirty kitchen areas, utensils, and general dustiness. The need for a deep clean is a recurring theme, indicating that cleanliness is below expectations for many guests.
The location is highly praised for being close to the town centre, the beach, and local amenities, with guests appreciating the convenience and quiet setting.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests find the beds clean and comfortable, others report uncomfortable mattresses and a general need for updating furniture. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to an average score.
Facilities are noted as adequate for large groups, but several reviews cite issues with maintenance, such as wobbly bannisters, non-functioning ovens, and leaking taps. The need for servicing and updating kitchen equipment is frequently mentioned.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Perfect and a very large cottage, great for families! Easy walking distance into the centre of Aberaeron in 5 minutes. Easy check in and out instructions. The only thing which I would recommend is to renew a few kitchen things eg cooking equipment and utensils. Some utensils were broke and the iron is not in best of condition. These are minor things to fantastic home and would recommend to anyone family staying in the area!

This is a lovely property in a great location, there is plenty of room and it has a good layout. It is a little tired in a few respects but still provides decent value for money.

Lovely family stay for a birthday weekend. Communication was clear and check in instructions very easy to follow. Ideal location - just a few minutes walk down to Aberaeron. Overall a good stay but the property really needs a deep clean. It was very dusty in places, kitchen cupboards dirty, fridge shelves dirty etc this has been mentioned in previous reviews so hopefully due a deep clean soon as we would stay here again - thank you
