Outside, there is an enclosed landscaped garden with sea views, where guests can sit on the secluded patio and watch the sun set in the distance after a busy day’s exploration. Aberaeron, a popular tourist resort, offers an array of seafood restaurants, traditional Welsh pubs, boutique-style shops and art galleries. The nearby quirky towns of Newquay and Aberystwyth are well worth the visit, offering fantastic walks and breathtaking views along the dramatic coastline of Ceredigion, where bottlenose dolphins and porpoises are often seen on a clear day. Great location and the house itself is excellent. We contacted the owner before just to confirm that the cooker was clean which he said it was. We asked the question due to it being highlighted in other reviews. When we got there it wasn’t clean so the owner does not check before. All the bed linen was clean, along with the towels. The patio area needs power washing and some TLC. Potentially, this is a 5 Star house but needs more hands on work from the owner to get there.

Comfortable enjoyable stay, don't expect any frills or extras The location was very good, easy walk into Abaraeron and the shops. The house was big and comfortable great to have a garden and parking . I have never been to a self catering holiday let that does not have a welcome hamper or house instructions. There was no extras like salt and pepper, dishwasher tablets etc that would have made the stay more convenient for the guests. The iron did not work which was frustrating and the knives could do with sharpening. Cleaning the outside table and chairs also would have been appreciated.
