Guests consistently highlight the high standard of cleanliness, excellent facilities, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The cottage is well-equipped, comfortable, and ideally located for exploring the Welsh countryside and coast. Families, couples, and dog owners all felt at home, with many noting the attention to detail and the relaxing atmosphere. Occasional minor issues, such as the garden being separate from the house and variable Wi-Fi, are mentioned but do not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences.

Cleanliness is repeatedly described as impeccable, spotless, and immaculate by numerous guests, with some even believing they were the first to stay due to the high standards maintained.

The rural, tranquil location is highly praised for its beauty and peacefulness, with easy access to local towns and attractions. A few guests note the property is a little isolated, but this is generally seen as a positive.

Guests consistently mention the cottage's comfort, from cosy furnishings to comfortable beds and a homely atmosphere. The property is described as spacious and well-suited for families and couples alike.

Facilities are described as excellent, with the cottage being very well-equipped, including games, kitchenware, and thoughtful extras. The only minor negative is the garden being separate from the house, which affected a few dog owners.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome hampers, birthday gifts, and personalised notes. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The peace and quiet is great and the views are amazing. Its was great waking up to the sounds of sheep and cows. The cottage itself is perfect. Its a home from home and comes equipped with everything you need right down to the open fire for the country cottage feel sitting in front of the fireplace. The owners are great. They live next door and are always on hand if you need anything or have any issues and nothing is any trouble for them to sort out. Will def book again and revisit

It is so well equipped that I don't feel the description does the cottage justice. The property felt warm and homely and was spotlessly clean. My only issue was the garden being separate from the actual house, and I don't remember seeing that advertised. This was an issue for one of my dogs, who might run off, so I had to walk him across to the garden on a lead, which was a bit of a pain when he needed a wee at 6am.

Whenever I go to a Sykes cottage, I usually take the basics because some can be lacking, but not Tangaer as everything was supplied. Couldn't fault it.
