Guests say

The Farmhouse in Lampeter is a charming and spacious property set in beautiful Mid Wales countryside, ideal for family gatherings and group holidays. Guests have praised its comfortable rooms, stunning views, and excellent outdoor facilities including a hot tub, games room, and children's play area. The farmhouse's rustic charm and welcoming atmosphere, alongside the helpfulness of the owners, contribute to a memorable stay.

Most guests found The Farmhouse to be clean and welcoming. However, a few noted areas that had been overlooked and some maintenance issues that affected the overall cleanliness, such as a musty room and a high chair with dried food. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its stunning countryside views, proximity to coastal towns, and lovely walks. The peaceful setting is perfect for a rural retreat, although the approach via a farm track was noted to be bumpy and challenging for some vehicles.

Guests have commented on the comfortable beds and the spaciousness of the property, which accommodates large groups well. Some guests mentioned creaky beds and a preference for different mattresses, but overall, the farmhouse provides a relaxing environment.

The farmhouse offers a range of facilities including a hot tub, games room, and outdoor play area, which were well-received. However, there were several maintenance issues reported, such as problems with the shower, kitchen appliances, and electrical trips. The need for an additional shower was frequently mentioned.

While the reviews reflect positively on the owners' helpfulness and responsiveness, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.

It was decorated beautifully and it was perfect for us with so much space. The farmhouse was extremely clean and tidy and well maintained. The owner was absolutely lovely too. We loved being able to go to the games room and the park on site with the kids too. Plenty of walking space around the property for our 3 dogs with a little lake too which was lovely. Just one thing I would change and that would be in the en-suite bathroom (which is massive, the photos don’t do it justice) I’d put a shower curtain so it can be used as a shower too. Apart from that it was just incredible, we loved our stay and enjoyed our evenings sat by a fire

There’s plenty of space and great spaces for all being together. Great location for exploring. We had a fab time.

It is set in beautiful countryside, only a short walk through fields and woodland to the river and a National Trust property to visit. Nearby Aberaeron, New Quay etc. were delightful. The house is very spacious and equipped well for our small party of 6, the hot tub and outdoor patio area was lovely. The owner was helpful and pleasant. The weather was quite wet and chilly at times but the heating is effective. We made some lovely memories and thoroughly enjoyed our autumn holiday - thank you! For improvement, we would have liked property and appliance information, a bit about the history and facilities like the solar panels, local walks etc. We got some of this by asking but we expected a folder or book of info that was not present. We love log burners - generous wood supply thank you, but in our opinion the log burners need attention, and some general house maintenance would improve the property further (then it would probably be too expensive to book!!). The games room whilst a nice facility, is tired, and could do with some refurbishment.
