Guests appreciate the kind and helpful owners, comfortable social spaces, and suitability for large groups and families. The scenic location offers tranquility and proximity to local attractions, with some minor notes on bed comfort.
The cottage is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with fresh and crisp bed linen. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the guests' enjoyable experience.
The location is celebrated for its stunning views and peaceful rural setting. It's close to Tregaron and within driving distance to Aberystwyth, offering a mix of tranquility and accessibility to local attractions.
The property is noted for its comfortable sofas and layout conducive to socialising. However, some guests mentioned that the beds could be more comfortable and larger, which slightly affects the score.
The cottage is well-equipped for large groups, with a well-stocked kitchen and games room. Maintenance appears prompt, with a heater issue resolved quickly. The outdoor space is appreciated, though the 'grounds' are sheep fields.
While the reviews reflect positive experiences and mention the owners' helpfulness, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that are guaranteed for guests, so a score cannot be provided.

We’ve been coming here now for 12 years for a large friends and family Christmas party weekend. The the house is a great size, with lots of accommodation across several rooms in two ‘wings’. Well equipped kitchen and large living room area make it the perfect location for a big group get together (we cook a full Christmas dinner for 15+ people!). It’s spacious enough that people can have some privacy but still feel warm and cosy! The location is fantastic with wonderful views plenty of nice walks and you’re a short walk to Tregaron, which is a nice little village with pubs, local gift shops, cafés a couple of convenience stores and petrol garage or relatively short drove to Aberystwyth, with everything that has to offer (a quick google will also show the bus routes from Aberystwyth station that drop off very nearby, which can be useful when guests are coming from different areas). The owners are lovely, welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. It really has become a home away from home for our group and I’m sure we’ll be coming back for years to come!

The views around the location were stunning. Beautiful cottage, with good amenities and very lovely couple who own it, they are very kind and made sure to ask if there was anything we needed. Can’t fault the place or the cottage.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. We will definitely be returning.
