The games room was a bonus but needs updating as it looks like an unfinished project. The large garden at the rear also looked unkempt. Jackie

To say we were disappointed would be an understatement really. On arrival at the bungalow we were quite shocked on how rundown it looked from the outside. Walls needed painting, drives need attention (owner suggests that the weeds on the drive are from where people park their cars?) and a little gardening wouldn't go amiss!. Inside, yes it's big but very uninviting. No home feeling about it, a few cushions, curtains that fit the windows, sprucing up a little would make all the difference (owner suggested that covid is reason no soft furnishings). The back garden isn't very appealing either, loose flags, no proper path to the garage, grass needs cutting! Then there's the garage/games room. Yes there are amenities in there but it could do with sprucing up to make it more inviting. There's parts painted, wood on the floor (which owner admits too but suggests that facilities can still be used), the floor could do with painting (owner suggests this is painted when maintenance is carried out), there's a leak from the roof near the edge of the pool table (owner knows about this but suggests that it was worse because there was a storm). The arm on the hot tub was broken. The list goes on. We went expecting something a little more inviting and 'special '. We realise it's not a five star hotel but it's certainly not worth what we have paid for it. My husband got it in a nut shell when he described it as being like a hostel!.
