We recently enjoyed a stay at this lovely property, nestled in a beautiful area , although not with direct marina views just 1 building back from them. With easy walking access to several local eateries. Its prime location really enhanced our experience and made the trip memorable.The building itself is charming and shows lots of potential. A few small issues caught our eye; it felt a touch less inviting in patches, with some bare plaster in the kitchen and a few pieces of wood left in the garden. These seemed to be the result of recent repairs, so I believe they were temporary and not reflective of the usual standard. One word of warning for those with small dogs, there is a gap between the outshouse and the neighbours garden, which prompted our miniature dachsund to lead me on a Benny Hill esque pursuit aided by the local constabulary who happened to be nearby.Inside, the generous size of the space was a real highlight. The living areas are thoughtfully arranged and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. It made our stay comfortable and laid-back, especially with a larger group.The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals, which was much appreciated. I did pick up a couple of lightbulbs during the stay, though this may have been due to recent bad weather rather than any neglect.One small thing to mention: although our booking was for six people, there were only five forks available. It didn’t spoil our stay, but future guests might notice this.Overall, despite a few minor quirks, we had a wonderful time in a fantastic location. The property has many strengths, and with a bit more attention to details, it would be an even more inviting place for future visitors.

Good quiet neighbourhood, clean house and an overall lovely stay. Had some trouble with the hot water and heating but the host was very quick to help. Would definitely recommend the place!
