This lovely semi-detached, converted barn, previously a cow shed, is set in a perfect location for those who love the beach and coastal properties. Ideal for families and groups looking to explore Gower, the property is situated on the Gower Peninsula overlooking Worm’s Head, next door to the owner and a short distance from their working farm. It is within walking distance to the nearest pub and restaurant.
This characterful barn has plenty to offer for groups of all size, and plenty of room for your pets. It offers three bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with en-suite facilities. There are three fabulous local beaches to explore, Llangennith beach, Fall Bay and Three Cliffs Bay, where there are lots of activities available such as surfing, or you can simply just relax in the sunshine. Perriswood Archery and Falconry Centre is approximately 6 miles from the property, where you can hold and feed the various birds they have there.
Worm’s Head is a great adventure, and part of the Wales Coast Path. Walk over the cliffs and rocks to enjoy the fabulous views from the top of Worm’s Head right over to parts of the Devon coast on a clear day. You may even catch a glimpse of the seals too!
Once you have done all that walking, come back to the property to sit in the enclosed garden with the barbecue lit and watch the sunset over the sea. Beach ¼ mile. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Great house & value for money. Few cobwebs need cleaning from the ceiling in main room but otherwise clean throughout.

A lovely warm welcome from the owner with delicious Welsh cakes to enjoy on arrival. A very attractive and tasteful barn conversion. Really well equipped and with a ground floor bedroom with ensuite which was perfect for my dad who has limited mobility. A great outdoor L-shaped seating area with a table which we used for breakfast and evening meals. Easy to reach beaches and shops if you have a car. The only improvement would be a second shower maybe over the bath otherwise five of us had to share my dad's!!

The photos online did not do The Old Byre justice, it was so much more spacious than we thought it was going to be. It is really well furnished, comfortable and the kitchen is so well equipped. Garden is really safe for dogs and quite a sun trap, really nice to be able to relax outside in the evening when the weather cooled. Really lovely to meet the owner Mary & her little dog Jack, really enjoyed our chats over the garden gate and our dog certainly made herself at home in both The Old Byre and Mary's garden/home :)
