Guests say

The Bungalow in Abergele offers a pleasant stay with its lovely decor, comfortable furnishings, and secure garden that is appreciated by pet owners. Its proximity to parks, markets, and the beach adds to its charm, although some guests suggested minor improvements for an even better experience.

Most guests found The Bungalow clean and tidy, with fresh and clean linen. However, there were comments about maintenance issues and garden upkeep that slightly marred the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for being quiet, convenient, and close to local attractions such as parks, markets, and the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring North Wales.

Guests enjoyed the comfortable bed and furnishings, but some noted that the sofa was uncomfortable and the garden's gravel was not suitable for small pets. A few guests also mentioned the lack of a wardrobe and outdoor seating.

While the property is appreciated for its amenities, guests reported several maintenance issues such as missing kitchen doors, blunt knives, and a lack of certain appliances. The presence of ants and a blocked shower drain were also noted.

There were no mentions of welcome gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Stones far to sharp and rough for our dog. Apart from this everything Ok,the location of the property was perfect just a shame about the rear garden

Only small issue no bedding for sofa bed - went to Asda up the road to purchase so not a problem. We will definitely be coming back to Towyn - great base camp to explore north wales .

The bungalow was on a quiet residential road. The bungalow was clean and in most areas nicely decorated, however there were some not so good points. The gardens were poorly maintained with overgrowth and weeds in the front and back gardens of the property, this didn't create a good first impression. The TV remote in the back bedroom wasn't working and thus rendered the TV useless as we couldn't change the volume which was very loud. We did try new batteries but this didn't help at all. The bed was a double and rather small for a holiday let. The linen however smelt lovely, fresh and clean. The kitchen was a nice size however some doors were missing and others nailed or screwed shut, once again didn't help with the aesthetics of the property . Another minor thing although frustrating was the knives were blunt and old. Moving to the bathroom it was a decent size with the shower being spacious and easy to use . The light in the bathroom was flickering so we chose not to use it for the duration of our stay. The sofa was uncomfortable and dipping in the middle again not what you would expect of a good holiday let.The front door of the property was difficult to lock and the handle needed some strong lifting to get the lock to turn. The worst part of our stay however was the appearance of ants in the living room, the odd one or two at first but on our last few days there were a lot. I did raise a few of these points with the vendor and they said they would have come to change the bulb and would look at getting the ants seen too. The ant nest was outside to be fair but they had found their way in to the front room . Overall a disappointing stay ,small things but they affected our stay overall,we were disappointed, also every other holiday let's we have stayed in had a welcome note and pack which included all sorts from wine to chocolates or biscuits. This while not essential I know but all the same would offer a nice touch for new visitors.
