This semi-detached holiday cottage, with a conservatory with table and chairs overlooking the pretty garden, has been renovated to provide cosy accommodation in an ideal central location near all the attractions of North Wales. Visit Surf Snowdonia in the Conwy Valley, the world’s first artificial surfing lagoon. With scenic walks, sandy beaches, a leisure centre and renowned Welsh Mountain Zoo, all 3 miles from the house. Victorian Llandudno with its famous promenade, theatre, golf courses, dry ski slope and cable car rides is 6 miles away. Conwy Castle and harbour, Bodnant Gardens, Betws-y-Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia are nearby. Day trips to Anglesey, Chester, Mt Snowdon and Lake Bala. A car is essential to get the full enjoyment of the area. Local shop 0.5 miles, pub and restaurant 0.7 miles.

Lovely home from home holiday stay. Great location for exploring but really peaceful pod at the same time. Great to meet the owner who was lovely.*** I will confess, I ignored a previous review regarding the road. Take the instructions that are sent when you book and its fine but not much further than the cottage. Unless you have tractor or a rough terrain vehicle. I drove down but not for long and had to turn in a farmers field and go back up with advice of a local gentleman . Not before bush scratches, twanged cills and I think my exhaust just made it out😅

I spent a week at Cartref with my two dogs. The house had everything I needed to a comfortable week. The location was very quiet but within easy reach of local amenities and many interesting places to visit

Lovely house equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable stay. Enjoyed watching the birds in the garden and the sheep in the field opposite. We were close enough to lots of places worth visiting and on a lovely quiet road too. We stayed the week of the eclipse so met some of the neighbours who were lovely. The host was great and offered advice on places to visit etc. she also kindly posted back something that we’d left behind. We will hopefully and happily be back at some point in the future. Thanks for a lovely stay.
