About this property

Conwy 3.5 miles. Min Y Don is a beautifully presented, semi-detached house resting on the main A470 road in Llansanffraid Glan Conwy, just south of Llandudno Junction. Tastefully decorated throughout, and boasting superb views of the estuary and mountains, this attractive abode welcomes families and friends looking to explore the coast and countryside of North Wales. Enter the property into a vestibule area where you can drop off your seaside equipment before finding the kitchen/diner. Heated up by the alluring woodburning stove, this is a fabulous spot to prepare your meals, kitted out with a range gas cooker, Belfast sink, dishwasher, washing machine and even a tumble dryer, ensuring you are fully catered for. Gather at the dining table for a sumptuous feast, popping open a bottle of wine and toasting to a long-awaited getaway with your nearest and dearest. Just off the kitchen rests the refreshing lounge where you can snuggle up on the plush settees and enjoy a favourite film on the Smart TV, or relax at the bay window and admire those far-reaching estuary views. Move through to discover a small sun room leading out to the raised patio, complete with table and chairs for alfresco dining, while there is also a lawned area and stream at the bottom of the garden. Discover three beautiful bedrooms to rest in, all with harmonious colour schemes and thoughtful touches, comprising 1 x kingsize, 1 x twin (zip/link, can be super king on request), 1 x single. The king size and single room both benefit from glorious views. Serving the bedrooms is the fabulous bathroom, equipped with a spacious walk-in shower, a roll-top bath, radiator and towel rail. The nearby town of Llandudno Junction offers all your local amenities, including a number of small businesses, shops, supermarkets, chain restaurants and welcoming pubs, ideal if you fancy a night away from the kitchen. Cross the famous Conwy Suspension Bridge to access the wonderful market town of Conwy, where you can travel back in time and learn about the ruling of King Edward I during the 13th century, see the smallest house in Great Britain, boasting a very special interior, or tuck into some delicious fish and chips as you watch the boats bob with the tide on the water. Venture further north to the ever-popular seaside town of Llandudno, still offering a quaint vintage feel about it, with a Victorian Pier still home to a classic amusement arcades and cafés, and a promenade stretching along the seafront. Test your hand at watersports at Colwyn Bay, or venture over the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park for a rugged selection of climbs and hikes. There’s plenty to discover during your stay at Min Y Don.

Situated in the south of Llandudno, the town of Llandudno Junction is home to the railway station which sits on the Crewe to Holyhead North Wales coastline. As well as being a key transport link, the town offers a number of small businesses, shops, supermarkets, chain restaurants, pubs and a Cineworld. To the north is the popular seaside town of Llandudno, which offers a great place to enjoy coastal attractions, such as Punch and Judy, the promenade and a pier with amusement arcade.

Lovely view from the armchairs - could lose whole hours sat there! Fabulous base for seeing all what North Wales has to offer - which is plenty!

The property is a credit to the owners, clean and well maintained. The house is well situated for exploring North Wales and beyond. On your door step is Bodnant Gardens (NT), The Welsh Food Centre, Conwy, Llandudno and Rhos on Sea. Anglesey is also close by. We can highly recommend a stay here and the views over the Glan Conwy estuary from the Sun Room are splendid.
