Craiglwyd Bach is a charming, cosy cottage in a picturesque location with stunning views over Llandudno and the surrounding countryside. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, as well as the warm welcome from the friendly owners. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring North Wales, with excellent local walks, pubs, and beaches nearby. While the narrow, steep access road is mentioned as a challenge, most guests found it manageable and part of the cottage's character. The thoughtful touches and dog-friendly atmosphere make it a popular choice for couples and pet owners alike.
Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with guests describing the cottage as spotless, very clean, and well maintained. No significant negative comments were found regarding cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, proximity to local amenities, and access to walks and beaches. The only recurring issue is the narrow, steep access road, but most guests felt the setting outweighed this challenge.
Guests repeatedly mention the cottage's comfort, especially the cosy atmosphere, comfortable bed, and relaxing lounge with a log burner. The cottage is described as homely and perfect for a restful break.
Facilities are well regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, and thoughtful amenities such as a log burner and outdoor seating. A few minor comments note the bathroom is small and parking can be tight, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience.
Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome cakes, milk, and dog-friendly provisions. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should not expect them as standard.
