Built onto the Town Walls in Conwy, North Wales, is this two-bedroom, end-terrace cottage of Millgate House. The perfect place for a family holiday, Millgate House is set over three floors, offering fantastic views of the walls, as well as being within reach of a range of the region's sights, from Anglesey to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Upon arrival, you'll be relieved to discover two designated parking spaces, so you can get settled in with little hassle. Progress inside to be welcomed by a charming open-plan living space, where everything you need for a self-catering holiday can be found, including a well-equipped kitchen offering a selection of integrated appliances, including a handy washing machine. The chef of the group can rustle up tasty dinners here, to be enjoyed at the adjacent breakfast bar over a glass of wine. Continue to the sitting area where you can kick back and relax on the plush seating and enjoy a show on the flatscreen TV. Progress to the back of the property to come across a handy boot room, which enjoys the fantastic feature of the actual town walls; this quirky feature can be enjoyed in the neighbouring cloakroom, too. The toilets on every floor were very useful. It was in a good location. The down side was that the bedrooms were accessed through each other. Also I feel the second floor stairs would have benefited from a second hand rail as the first floor had. The owner/managers were helpful on the one occasion we contacted them.

There was not one complaint about the house. The comfort and cleanliness was faultless. There was everything we needed in the house. We have stayed in Conwy many times but this house was the best to stay in. The only thing we were disappointed in was having to leave and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much, the perfect week is the only way I can describe it.
