The location is widely praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to scenic walks, Horseshoe Falls, and Llangollen. Some mention the need for a car due to its slightly remote setting, but this is generally seen as a positive for peace and quiet.

Guests frequently mention the comfort of the beds, cosy living spaces, and effective heating. The cottage is described as a home from home, with only minor notes about cold floors in winter.

The cottage is repeatedly described as very well equipped, especially the kitchen, and includes extras like games and a badminton set. Maintenance issues are rare, with only a minor mention of a noisy cattle grid.

With a 34 degree outside temperature this, well shaded, house kept pretty cool. The surrounding area is spectacularly nice, as is the town of Llangollen. The roads are incredibly dangerous, due to bad drivers. The cattle grid, adjacent to the property, is a nuisance due to the loud noise it emits every time a vehicle crosses it. Overall, let’s just say BRILLIANT!

Another wonderful holiday in a gorgeous lodge. Our 4th visit. Already booked for next year. The lodge is in a lovely part of North Wales. Lots to see. A good village for all shops. Try the butchers. If you like walking its a definite place to go. Pub nearby. Church is open daily. Excellent hosts.
