Hen Hafod is beautiful! The cottage itself is lovely and spacious, with a very traditional feel to it. The surrounding farmland is scenic and there were little lambs running around outside the front windows. The only thing to be aware of is that it is almost what I'd consider "in the middle of nowhere". This was perfect for us as a couple who wanted a lazy break from humanity, but it may not be as suitable for those who want to get out and find activities and places to eat. Driving through the hillside country roads can also take a little getting used to!I would like to say how wonderful and accommodating Mrs. Owens was throughout our stay. She was friendly and always available in the background if we needed anything. We'd definitely go back again.
