Doldeg is a well-received holiday cottage in Criccieth, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the secure garden, proximity to the beach and town, and the well-equipped kitchen. While some minor issues with facilities and maintenance are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently describe Doldeg as very clean and well-maintained, with several reviews specifically highlighting the property's cleanliness. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences reported by visitors.
The location of Doldeg is frequently praised for being close to the beach, town, and local amenities. Its proximity to scenic walks and attractions in North Wales & Snowdonia makes it an ideal spot for holidaymakers, contributing to its high rating.
Comfort is highly rated by guests, with many finding the beds comfortable and the property spacious. Some concerns about bed height and squeaky bed frames in the twin bedroom are mentioned, but these are minor compared to the overall comfort experienced.
Facilities at Doldeg are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. However, some guests mention the lack of outdoor dining furniture, absence of a large freezer, and the desire for a washing machine and dryer. These comments suggest room for improvement in this category.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews. Therefore, while guests find the property accommodating and pleasant, there is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness based on the presence of gifts, and the score is set to null.

1) Excellent accommodation. 2) Excellent location, 3 Good weather. 4) Dog friendly accommodation & beaches. Doldeg had all of these during our stay, with excellent weather. Plenty of Dog friendly sandy beaches close by with good swimming not far away. Criccieth, Pwllheli, Abersoch and Porthmadog are all worth a visit. So we would be very happy to return to Doldeg.
